Gavin loves his new-found freedom, now that he's walking. Often times, the girls will leave the back door open and he's out and about searching for new discoveries. On friday, I left the kids with Steve for about 5 minutes so that I could get ready for my temple trip. This is how I found Gavin...covered in dirt, and happy as can be! For several minutes I just watched him busily pick up dirt, throw it on himself, and then try to wipe it off. This process repeated itself over and over, until I finally had to clean him off so I could feed him and leave! But I'm sure he would have sat even longer and just enjoyed digging his huge hole in the dirt and covering himself with it. And, luckily for Steve, he's just too cute to be mad at.
