So last weekend Aliza and I spend ALL WEEKEND prepping and performing in a High School Musical 3 promotion at the Red Rock Casino here in Vegas. Literally, we spend like a half an hour at home during the friday and saturday waking hours. But boy, was it fun and worth it!
I was worried, because the team was performing both Saturday and Sunday, and Aliza and I both knew that she wouldn't be participating if Sunday became an issue. Luckily, however, her teacher thinks she's the best on the team (oh yeah!) and Aliza was given the only allowance made-no sunday for her! The performance was a hit, and the girls had so much fun. They had a set of three songs that they would perform, and then they would walk around in the crowd and promote their dance academy and HSM 3. Aliza loved this part, and so fit the part. Plus, she was so darn cute in her little HSM outfit that no one could resist! And the sunday issue ended up being a blessing in disguise, because after Saturday was over, we had no desire to perform 4 hours straight again the next day.
Background info: Aliza is on a broadway performance mini team at Summerlin Dance Academy and this was their first time performing. They were given a week's notice to put together some music and dance routines to promote High School Musical 3 at the theater in Red Rock Casino. So, it was a little chaotic and there were plenty of extra rehearsals to get it together, but it all turned out good in the end.

She is SO CUTE!! I love the outfit...and I have to agree, she fits the part so perfectly! Glad you didn't have to go on SUnday!
I love how she ALWAYS has her arms up! She is awesome. I bet the performance was so much fun!
