Grace decided that she LIKED soccer. This only came to a realization after the end-of-the-season party, however. Swayed by trophies and cake, perhaps? Gavin sure was.
Grace was a great little player. Only three girls were on her team of twelve, and she wanted to play every game, never fail. This is remarkable, considering she was one of the youngest (NOT smallest) and most of the team didn't even want to play 90% of the time. Goalie was her favorite position, which I think had to do with the fact that she didn't always have to know what was going on or run up and down the field. A limited attention span is a terrible thing to waste. But she would give it her all and dive for balls. And I wasn't completely shocked when two of the best players on her UNDEFEATED team asked if she was going to be playing with them next season. We'll see how much she "likes" soccer when it's time to sign up again.

Grace is so cute! I can totally seeing her diving after the ball!! she looks adorable in her uniform!
