Grace started preschool this week and loves it. I love it as much as she does. Gavin loves it as much as we both do...he needs a break from being picked up every two seconds by his sister. Her most exciting thing that happened at school was that there was a boy named Gavin in her class. She told me this several times, told Aliza, told Steve, told the cashier at the grocery store, told our neighbor. It was pretty exciting for her.
Gavin had his first non-family babysitter tonight. And he LIKED IT. I was very surprised. Especially because he looked at her for a long 5 seconds and started crying while eating dinner. But that was it! I guess I'll have to take advantage of this new found freedom and go on more date nights or actually somewhere by myself?!
Steve played in his indoor soccer game Wed. and popped his hip out of joint. The next morning I could hear him struggling to roll out of bed, literally. I sat there at 5 am thinking how is he going to ride a motorcycle to work when he can't even bend his knees and get out of bed? But he somehow managed and has since complained for a week about how sore he is. He has no idea. Try working out at the gym on your arms and then carrying a baby around all day while vacuuming and making dinner. Then he can complain.
I've been catching up on that I've neglected. Shoes for the kids (it's soooo hard to find boy church shoes-I went to 6 stores before finally finding even 1 pair in Gavin's size), cleaning a disgusting car, getting back into my gym rhythm, organizing the house, etc. My biggest pet peeve is returning. I absolutely hate buying something I think is going to be a deal, and then it doesn't fit and I have to turn right back around and return it. I'm too busy to go to the same store twice in a week. And it's always for Aliza because she's too skinny for clothes and then they don't fit. Some time this week I need to get Gavin's year pictures taken, but I can't seem to make it over there when he's happy, fed, and not tired. Update on that next time.

Yeah, I'm so glad you posted! Getting back into the gym rhythm has been nice, if it weren't for you, I'd have no gym membership! :)It might be a few days before I get back into the gym, I came down with the stomach bug that Maddox had, NOT FUN, so you won't see me leading the primary in song at church! And Horray for babysitters, looks like you found some freedom!! We should do a double date sometime!
I can't believe Aliza is in 1st grade! Time flies! Sometime our schedules will match up and we'll get to visit. :)
