Gavin

How fun is having a boy? At our house, lots.

Gavin is a riot and we love hearing him talk, run around, and imagine.

Now a normal mom would blog about this one incident that was so gut-wrenchingly funny and how she just loves it when he says blah blah blah. But I am blessed with a horrible memory. And as such, I've compiled, purely for selfish reasons, a list of things I want to remember at this moment. Indulge me.

Conversations with his cars, as in: "Hey HONEY! Honey, don't do that. It's DANGEROUS!" as he precariously dangles a car off the edge of the couch.

Calling his best friend (and SISTER) "You my brother". Sorry Grace.

Talking constantly. He's always asking me what type of construction vehicle's on the side of the road, or he'll be singing songs at the top of his lungs (his newest favorites are songs from ANNIE). But this kid has a lot to say.

Very observative. We'll read a book, words and all, and he'll remember them the next night. Word for word. He'll also study them. Sometimes I finish reading a page and just sit and watch him look at what is happening in the book. Love it.

Funny word mishaps: Soda (Yoda), croc-diles (his nickname for #2's in the toilet), "tinkle, tinkle widdle dar" (twinkle, twinkle), chocwhit (his candy of choice), Datman (Batman), Go, Go Jofis (how he requests Go Go Joseph while driving), nilk (milk), show you somebing (while he drags my arm to where he has something he wants me to look at), marsh=pillows (marshmellows)

We LOVE boys too Lindsay, can I just say that there is nothing more sweet than a little car driving along on your "Bumps."
